Upland farm track.
A typical unmade farm track in the Pennine hills of northern England photographed on a typical early winter morning. A lot of these rough little tracks lead to farms that have existed for centuries, often located at the point where cultivated fields stop and the moorland starts.
This is a black and white image (slightly toned) made from a tiny half frame 35mm negative. I used to walk miles with this little camera, and it made negatives that were a little like sketches - not heavily detailed as such, but not suffering because of that. This image on black and white negative film has been scanned to make prints on a heavy matt fine art paper that is ready to frame.
Image size 24x17cm (9.5x6.75inches) on 30x25cm (12x10inches) paper.
